From Venezuela to the World: Talent That Turns Knowledge into Opportunity

Linda Montilla-Celis represents a story of talent that goes beyond the classroom. A Venezuelan mechanical engineer, she has built an international career connected to innovation, technology, and the space sector, with experience at Tesla and on projects overseen by NASA. Her contribution lies in turning knowledge into opportunities for others. Since 2018, Táchira Project has provided free training to more than 1,200 people in entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and STEM education, through initiatives that have received support from MIT. Her selection among the world’s ten most outstanding young people shows that preparing, persevering, and sharing knowledge can open doors for many others.
