The​ Story​ of​ Edhi

Abdul Sattar Edhi (1928–2016) was a legendary Pakistani philanthropist and humanitarian who founded the Edhi Foundation, which operates the world's largest volunteer ambulance network. Known as the "Angel of Mercy," he chose a life of extreme simplicity, owning just two pairs of clothes, to dedicate all resources to helping the poor. His foundation saved over 20,000 abandoned babies, trained thousands of nurses, and provided free shelter, healthcare, and burial services to millions of neglected individuals.
