Medal of Honor Society member

An Allegheny County police detective and homeowners association president. On August 12, 2023, a catastrophic house explosion occurred a few doors from his home. He immediately ran into the burning rubble and collapsing structures (while further explosions continued), pulled victims free (including one man who lived long enough for his children to say goodbye), and continued searching other homes. He later took weeks off work to support the traumatized neighborhood. Recognized as a 2025 Single Act of Heroism honoree by the Medal of Honor Society.
