Captain Sir Thomas Moore
At age 99, a British Army veteran wanted to raise £1,000 for healthcare workers & volunteers during the COVID pandemic by walking 100 laps around his property for his 100th birthday.
His example inspired his country and a shocking £38 million was raised.
His act of kindness caught the attention of the Queen, who knighted Sir Thomas Moore in recognition of his national contribution.
