Moral Leadership & Global Peace

Shane truly embodies what it means to lead by moral example, dedicating his life to radical hospitality, nonviolence, and social justice. As the co-founder of The Simple Way in Philadelphia and the leader of Red Letter Christians, Shane doesn’t just speak about faith and ethics, he lives them out daily. He chose to move into an intentional community in an inner-city neighborhood, sharing his life and resources directly with those on the margins. His courageous advocacy against gun violence and the death penalty, combined with his unique approach of literally forging guns into garden tools, provides the world with a beautiful, tangible vision of peace. Shane’s life is a masterclass in lived solidarity, proving that true leadership begins with service, humility, and unconditional love.
